Here’s a quick and creamy Velveeta Pasta recipe — cheesy, comforting, and perfect for a simple weeknight dinner.


Velveeta Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (elbow macaroni, penne, or shells)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or paprika
  • Optional toppings: cooked bacon bits, chopped parsley, or breadcrumbs

Instructions

1. Cook the pasta

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain and set aside.

2. Make the cheese sauce

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Stir in flour to make a roux and cook 1–2 minutes.
  3. Slowly whisk in milk until smooth and slightly thickened.
  4. Add cubed Velveeta cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder or paprika.

3. Combine pasta and sauce

  • Add cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and stir until evenly coated.

4. Serve

  • Serve warm as is, or top with cooked bacon, parsley, or breadcrumbs for extra flavor and texture.

Tips

  • For a creamier texture, add a splash of cream or half-and-half to the sauce.
  • Leftovers can be reheated with a little milk to restore creaminess.
  • Add cooked vegetables like broccoli, peas, or spinach for a veggie boost.
