Here’s a classic, melt-in-your-mouth recipe for Sweetened Condensed Milk Snowball Cookies—soft, buttery, and coated in powdered sugar. No eggs, super simple, and perfect for holidays or anytime.


Sweetened Condensed Milk Snowball Cookies

Makes: ~24 cookies

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ⅓ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts) – optional
  • Powdered sugar, for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter & milk:
    • Beat butter until smooth.
    • Mix in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla until creamy.
  3. Add dry ingredients:
    • Stir in flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
    • Fold in nuts if using.
  4. Shape cookies:
    • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
  5. Bake:
    • Bake 12–14 minutes. Cookies should be set but not browned.
  6. Coat in sugar:
    • Cool 5 minutes, then roll warm cookies in powdered sugar.
    • Once fully cooled, roll again for that snowy finish.

Pro Tips

  • Extra tender: Chill dough 15–20 minutes before rolling.
  • Flavor boost: Add ½ tsp almond extract or coconut extract.
  • Chocolate version: Add 2 tbsp cocoa powder to the flour.
