Here’s a foolproof, super sticky, fall-off-the-bone Honey Garlic Ribs recipe. Sweet, savory, glossy, and absolutely addictive! πŸ―πŸ§„πŸ–

⭐ Sticky Honey Garlic Ribs

Serves: 4
Cook time: 1.5–2 hours (mostly hands-off)
Method: Oven or slow cooker + quick broil

Ingredients

For the ribs:

  • 2–3 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional but great)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (slurry, optional for extra thickness)

Instructions

1. Prepare the ribs

  1. Preheat oven to 300Β°F (150Β°C).
  2. Pat ribs dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Place ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet. Cover tightly with foil.

2. Bake low and slow

  • Bake 2–2.5 hours (baby backs ~2 hours; spare ribs ~2.5).
  • Ribs should be tender but not falling apart yet.

(Slow cooker option: Cook on LOW 6–7 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.)

3. Make the sticky sauce

  1. In a saucepan: combine honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, brown sugar, and vinegar.
  2. Simmer 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. If you want it extra sticky, stir in the cornstarch slurry and simmer 1–2 more minutes.

4. Glaze and broil

  1. Uncover ribs. Brush generously with the honey garlic sauce.
  2. Broil on HIGH 3–5 minutes, until bubbling, sticky, and caramelized.
  3. Flip, brush, and broil the other side (optional but amazing).

5. Serve

Rest 5 minutes, cut into ribs, drizzle with extra sauce, and enjoy.
Optional topping: sesame seeds + green onions.
