Here’s a delicious and hearty steak pasta recipe — tender steak pieces tossed with pasta in a creamy, savory sauce. 🍝🥩


🥩 Steak Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or your favorite type)

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank steak)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter sauce)

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Optional: ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes for heat

  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)


🔪 Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Boil salted water and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.

    • Drain and reserve about ½ cup of pasta water.

  2. Cook the Steak:

    • Pat steak dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Sear steak 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare), or to your liking.

    • Let rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.

  3. Make the Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.

    • Add butter and garlic, cooking until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

    • Pour in heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan.

    • Stir until smooth; simmer for 2–3 minutes.

    • If too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water.

  4. Combine:

    • Add cooked pasta to the sauce, toss to coat.

    • Add sliced steak and toss gently until heated through.

  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with fresh parsley, extra Parmesan, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).

    • Serve warm.


🍷 Serving Ideas

  • Pair with a green salad or garlic bread.

  • Goes great with a glass of red wine (Cabernet or Merlot).
