🥩 Steak and Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or strip)
  • 3–4 medium potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)
  • Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

🍳 Instructions

1. Prepare the potatoes

  • Wash and cut potatoes into cubes or wedges.
  • Toss with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.

2. Cook the potatoes

  • Roast in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 25–30 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.

3. Cook the steak

  • Season steaks with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tbsp oil or butter.
  • Cook steaks:
    • 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare
    • 4–5 minutes per side for medium

4. Add garlic butter

  • During the last minute, add garlic and a little butter to the pan and spoon it over the steak.

5. Rest and serve

  • Let steak rest 5 minutes, then serve with roasted potatoes.
  • Sprinkle with parsley if desired.
