Slow cooker chicken thighs

Ooo yes—slow cooker chicken thighs are pure set-it-and-forget-it magic 😌🍗
Here are a few foolproof ways, depending on your mood:


Classic Garlic Herb (no fuss)

Ingredients

  • 2–3 lbs chicken thighs (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup chicken broth

How

  1. Season thighs on both sides.
  2. Add broth to slow cooker, lay chicken on top.
  3. Cook LOW 6–7 hrs or HIGH 3–4 hrs.

👉 Want crispy skin? Broil 3–5 min after cooking.


Honey Garlic (crowd favorite)

  • ½ cup honey
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ketchup or tomato paste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes

Dump it all in.
Cook LOW 6 hrs. Spoon sauce over rice or potatoes = 🔥


Creamy Ranch Style

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup milk or broth

Mix sauce first, add chicken, cook LOW 6 hrs.
Great over mashed potatoes or biscuits.


Extra Tips

  • Chicken thighs don’t dry out—perfect for slow cookers.
  • Don’t add too much liquid; thighs release their own.
  • Skim fat at the end if you want a lighter sauce.
