🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 medium green cabbage (chopped)
  • 1 onion (sliced)
  • 2–3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp butter or oil
  • 1 cup broth (chicken or vegetable)
  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: carrots, potatoes, or smoked sausage

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prep the cabbage
    Remove outer leaves, core it, and chop into chunks.
  2. Layer in slow cooker
    Add cabbage, onion, garlic, and any extras (like carrots or sausage).
  3. Add liquid & seasoning
    Pour in broth, sprinkle salt and pepper, and add butter on top.
  4. Cook
    • Low: 6–8 hours
    • High: 3–4 hours
      Cook until cabbage is soft and flavorful.
  5. Finish
    Stir, taste, and adjust seasoning. Serve warm.
