🥘 Slow Cooker Beef Noodle Casserole

This is a hearty, comforting dish with tender beef, tender noodles, and rich creamy sauce — perfect for a no-fuss dinner.


🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef or stew beef, cubed
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of celery)
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 8 oz egg noodles (uncooked)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Optional: frozen peas or carrots for extra veggies

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Beef

  • In a skillet, brown the beef with onion and garlic.
  • Drain excess fat if necessary.

2️⃣ Combine in Slow Cooker

  • Add browned beef, cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir to combine.

3️⃣ Add Noodles

  • Stir in uncooked noodles.
  • Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours (or high for 1.5–2 hours), until noodles are tender.

4️⃣ Add Cheese

  • About 15 minutes before serving, stir in 1 cup shredded cheese.
  • Optionally, sprinkle extra cheese on top and cover until melted.

5️⃣ Serve

  • Scoop hot and enjoy as a comforting main dish.

🌟 Tips

  • Veggies: Add frozen peas, carrots, or green beans for color and nutrition.
  • Make ahead: Assemble in the slow cooker insert the night before; refrigerate overnight and cook in the morning.
  • Creamier: Stir in 1/4 cup milk or sour cream at the end.
