Slow cooker 3-ingredient maple mustard pork roast

Here’s a simple and delicious 3-ingredient slow cooker maple mustard pork roast recipe for you:


Ingredients:

  1. Pork roast – 2 to 3 pounds (shoulder or loin works well)
  2. Maple syrup – ½ cup
  3. Dijon mustard – ¼ cup

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the roast: Pat the pork roast dry with paper towels.
  2. Mix the sauce: In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup and Dijon mustard.
  3. Coat the roast: Place the pork roast in the slow cooker and pour the maple mustard mixture over it, coating evenly.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Optional finishing touch: For a caramelized glaze, remove the roast after cooking, brush with some of the sauce, and broil in the oven for 3–5 minutes.
