Here’s a simple and addictive recipe for Seasoned Oyster Crackers—perfect for snacking or serving with soups and salads!

🦪 Seasoned Oyster Crackers

Ingredients (makes about 4 cups)

  • 1 (10 oz) bag oyster crackers
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for extra crispiness)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Mix the Seasoning

  1. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay (or Cajun seasoning), smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Coat the Crackers

  1. Place oyster crackers in a large bowl.
  2. Drizzle melted butter (and olive oil if using) over crackers and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the crackers and toss again until evenly coated.

4. Bake

  • Spread crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  • Watch closely at the end to prevent burning.

5. Cool and Store

  • Let crackers cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
  • They stay crunchy for up to 1–2 weeks.

⭐ Tips

  • For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne or crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Can be made in larger batches and stored for quick snacks.
  • Perfect for tailgates, parties, or soups!

I can also give a ranch-flavored version, a cheesy version, or a spicy Cajun version if you want.

Do you want me to make one of those?
