Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz / 225 g) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage, crumbled
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for extra gooeyness)
  • Optional: chopped green onions or chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook sausage: Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Prepare crescent dough: Unroll dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Fill crescents: Spread a layer of cream cheese on each triangle. Top with cooked sausage and shredded cheddar (if using).
  5. Roll up: Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle toward the point, enclosing the filling.
