Here’s a simple, delicious Roasted Mushrooms recipe—deeply savory, juicy, and perfect as a side dish or topping 🍄✨


🍄 Roasted Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) mushrooms (button, cremini, or baby bella)
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional seasonings:
    • 1/2 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
    • 1/2 tsp paprika or garlic powder
    • Fresh parsley or grated Parmesan (after roasting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • Preheat to 425°F (220°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
  2. Prep mushrooms
    • Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel.
    • Leave whole if small, or halve/quarter if large.
  3. Season
    • Toss mushrooms with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings.
  4. Roast
    • Spread mushrooms in a single layer.
    • Roast 20–25 minutes, stirring once halfway, until browned and slightly crispy on edges.
  5. Serve
    • Finish with fresh herbs, a squeeze of lemon, or Parmesan if desired.

Tips

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan—space = browning.
  • High heat helps mushrooms roast instead of steam.
  • Great served with steak, chicken, pasta, or on toast.
