raspberry jam

Posted on January 3, 2026 by Admin

Raspberry Jam 🍓 (sweet, tangy, and bright) is easy to make and super versatile—great on toast, in desserts, or as a filling.

Simple Homemade Raspberry Jam

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 2 cups sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1–2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Add raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice to a saucepan
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until berries break down
  3. Simmer 15–25 minutes until thickened
  4. Test thickness by placing a small spoonful on a cold plate—if it wrinkles when pushed, it’s ready
  5. Cool slightly, then transfer to clean jars

Tips & Variations

  • Seedless jam: Press cooked jam through a fine strainer
  • Less sugar: Reduce sugar and cook longer (texture will be looser)
  • Quick version: Add 1–2 tbsp chia seeds to thicken naturally
  • Flavor boost: Add a touch of vanilla or a pinch of cinnamon

Uses

  • Toast, biscuits, scones
  • Cake or cookie filling
  • Swirl into yogurt or oatmeal
  • Glaze for desserts or meats

If you want, I can give a small-batch 10-minute version or a no-cook freezer jam.
