Pumpkin Oatmeal Dump Cake 🎃

This easy dump cake is warm, cozy, and perfect for fall. You simply layer the ingredients and bake—no complicated mixing needed.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Make the pumpkin base
    In a bowl, mix:

    • pumpkin puree
    • evaporated milk
    • brown sugar
    • pumpkin pie spice
    • salt

    Pour the mixture evenly into the baking dish.

  3. Add the dry layers
    Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin layer.
    Then sprinkle the rolled oats and pecans on top.
  4. Add butter
    Drizzle the melted butter evenly over everything.
  5. Bake
    Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden and slightly crisp.

Serving ideas

  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream
  • Add whipped cream on top
  • Drizzle with caramel sauce
