Puffcorn Christmas Munch

Posted on January 5, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a fun and festive Puffcorn Christmas Munch recipe 🎄✨
Sweet, crunchy, and easy to make—perfect for holiday snacking or gifting.

Puffcorn Christmas Munch

Ingredients

  • 8 cups puffcorn (plain or lightly salted)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips (or candy melts)
  • ½ cup red and green M&Ms (or festive candies)
  • ½ cup chopped nuts (optional: pecans or almonds)
  • ½ tsp peppermint extract (optional, for extra holiday flavor)
  • Sprinkles (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Prep puffcorn
Place puffcorn in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.
  2. Melt chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Stir in peppermint extract if using.
  3. Coat puffcorn
Pour melted chocolate over puffcorn. Gently stir until mostly coated (you don’t have to coat every piece perfectly).
  4. Add mix-ins
Toss in M&Ms, nuts, and sprinkles. Mix lightly.
  5. Set
Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Let it cool and set (about 30–60 minutes, or speed up in the fridge).
  6. Break apart & serve
Once set, break into bite-sized clusters. Store in an airtight container.

Tips & Variations

  • Darker chocolate: Swap white chocolate for milk or dark chocolate
  • Extra crunch: Add pretzels, popcorn, or cereal
  • Candy cane twist: Crush peppermint candies for sprinkling on top
  • Gift idea: Put in festive bags or jars for holiday gifting

If you want, I can also make a microwave 5-minute version that’s super quick, or a chewy, caramel-style Christmas Munch version 😄.

Do you want quick & easy, or extra fancy for gifts?
