Here’s an easy, sweet Praline Crunch recipe 🍬
It’s crunchy, buttery, and great for holidays, parties, or snacking.
🍯 Praline Crunch
Ingredients
- 6 cups crisp rice cereal (like Rice Chex or Rice Krispies)
- 2 cups pecan halves (or chopped pecans)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup light corn syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven: 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine cereal and pecans.
- Make praline sauce:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
- Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup.
- Bring to a gentle boil and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Finish sauce: Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Coat: Pour sauce over cereal mixture and gently stir until evenly coated.
- Bake: Spread mixture onto baking sheet.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. - Cool: Let cool completely—it will crisp up as it cools.
- Break apart & serve.
Variations
- Chocolate praline crunch: Drizzle melted chocolate over cooled mix.
- Extra nutty: Add almonds or walnuts.
- Spiced: Add a pinch of nutmeg or pumpkin spice.
- No oven: Let coated mix cool in a large bowl, stirring occasionally (less crunchy but still tasty).
If you want a microwave version, no-nut option, or a praline crunch dessert topping, I can share that too 😊
