Praline Crunch

Here’s an easy, sweet Praline Crunch recipe 🍬
It’s crunchy, buttery, and great for holidays, parties, or snacking.

🍯 Praline Crunch

Ingredients

  • 6 cups crisp rice cereal (like Rice Chex or Rice Krispies)
  • 2 cups pecan halves (or chopped pecans)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup light corn syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine cereal and pecans.
  3. Make praline sauce:
    • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
    • Stir in brown sugar and corn syrup.
    • Bring to a gentle boil and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Finish sauce: Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Coat: Pour sauce over cereal mixture and gently stir until evenly coated.
  6. Bake: Spread mixture onto baking sheet.
    Bake for 25–30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
  7. Cool: Let cool completely—it will crisp up as it cools.
  8. Break apart & serve.

Variations

  • Chocolate praline crunch: Drizzle melted chocolate over cooled mix.
  • Extra nutty: Add almonds or walnuts.
  • Spiced: Add a pinch of nutmeg or pumpkin spice.
  • No oven: Let coated mix cool in a large bowl, stirring occasionally (less crunchy but still tasty).
