Pork tenderloin is a lean, tender cut that cooks quickly and pairs well with a variety of seasonings and sauces. Here’s a simple, flavorful method that keeps it juicy and delicious.


📝 Ingredients

  • 1–1.5 lb pork tenderloin
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme

For a glaze (optional):

  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp soy sauce

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Prepare the pork:
Pat the tenderloin dry with paper towels. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; rub evenly over the pork.

3. Sear the pork:
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the tenderloin on all sides until browned (about 2–3 minutes per side).

4. Add glaze (optional):
If using, brush the honey-Dijon glaze over the pork.

5. Roast:
Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 15–20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

6. Rest:
Let the pork rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
