🍍 Pineapple Quick Bread

Pineapple quick bread is a soft, moist, slightly sweet loaf made with crushed pineapple. It’s called quick bread because it uses baking powder instead of yeast, so it’s faster and easier to make. 🍞


🧾 Ingredients

  • 1½ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ cup Butter (melted)
  • 1 cup crushed Pineapple (with juice)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat the oven

  • Heat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  • Grease a loaf pan.

2. Mix dry ingredients

  • In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

3. Mix wet ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk egg, melted butter, crushed pineapple, and vanilla.

4. Combine

  • Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients.
  • Stir gently until just combined.

5. Bake

  • Pour batter into the loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

6. Cool and serve

  • Let the bread cool before slicing.

🍽️ Optional Add-Ins

  • Walnut or Pecan for crunch
  • Coconut flakes for tropical flavor
  • A light Powdered Sugar glaze
