Pepperoni pizza bombs

Posted on December 22, 2025 by Admin

Here’s a fun and tasty recipe for Pepperoni Pizza Bombs—bite-sized pockets of gooey cheese, pepperoni, and sauce, perfect for snacks or parties 🍕🧀

🍕 Pepperoni Pizza Bombs

Ingredients (makes 12–16 bombs)

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20–30 slices pepperoni, cut in half if large
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (optional, for brushing)
  • Optional: grated Parmesan for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare dough
    • Roll pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
    • Cut into squares, roughly 3×3 inches.
  3. Assemble the bombs
    • Place a small spoonful of mozzarella and a few slices of pepperoni in the center of each square.
    • Add a teaspoon of pizza sauce on top.
    • Fold dough over filling and pinch edges to seal completely, forming a ball.
  4. Bake
    • Place bombs seam-side down on the baking sheet.
    • Optional: brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan.
    • Bake 15–20 minutes, until golden brown.
  5. Serve
    • Serve hot with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

💡 Tips

  • Make sure to seal the dough tightly so cheese doesn’t leak during baking.
  • You can add extras like sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, or cooked sausage inside.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven for 5–7 minutes to keep them crispy.

I can also provide a slow-cooker version or air fryer version for even quicker results if you want.
