Here’s a simple and classic Peanut Butter Balls recipe—sweet, rich, and perfect for a treat 🍫🥜


Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients (about 24 balls)

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies or graham cracker crumbs (optional for crunch)
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips or melting chocolate

Instructions

  1. Make the peanut butter mixture
    • In a large bowl, combine peanut butter and butter until smooth.
    • Gradually stir in powdered sugar and Rice Krispies (if using) until mixture is thick and moldable.
  2. Form balls
    • Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
    • Chill in the refrigerator 30 minutes to firm up.
  3. Coat with chocolate
    • Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.
    • Dip chilled peanut butter balls into melted chocolate, coating completely.
    • Return to parchment paper and let chocolate set (refrigerate 10–15 minutes if needed).
  4. Serve
    • Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Tips & Variations

  • Nutty twist: Use chopped peanuts or almond butter in place of peanut butter.
  • Flavor boost: Add 1 tsp vanilla or a pinch of salt to the peanut butter mixture.
  • Festive touch: Roll balls in crushed nuts, sprinkles, or coconut instead of chocolate.
  • Microwave shortcut: Melt chocolate and drizzle over chilled balls instead of dipping for quicker prep.
