🧀🥔 Oven-Baked 4-Ingredient Cheesy Potato Stacks

A simple, crispy, cheesy potato side dish that looks fancy but is very easy to make. Perfect as a snack or side for dinner.

Ingredients (4 items)

  • 3–4 medium Potato (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese (or any melting cheese)
  • 2–3 tbsp melted Butter
  • Salt & black Black Pepper to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Heat oven to 190 °C (375 °F) and lightly grease a muffin tray.
  2. Slice potatoes
    Cut potatoes into very thin slices using a knife or mandoline.
  3. Season
    In a bowl, toss potato slices with melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer stacks
    • Place a slice of potato in the muffin cup
    • Add a little cheese
    • Repeat layers until the cup is full.
  5. Bake
    Bake for 35–40 minutes until the edges are crispy and cheese is golden.
  6. Cool slightly & serve
    Let stacks rest 5 minutes, then remove and serve.

🍽 Optional Add-Ons (still simple)

You can add:

  • minced garlic
  • chopped herbs
  • a sprinkle of Parmesan Cheese

✅ Tip: Press the layers slightly before baking so the stacks hold together.
