No-bake chocolate peanut butter balls

Posted on December 8, 2025 by Admin

Here’s a simple, **no-bake chocolate peanut butter balls** recipe—rich, easy, and perfect for a quick treat.

—

## **Ingredients** (makes ~12–15 balls)

* 1 cup creamy peanut butter (or natural peanut butter)
* 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* 1 1/2 cups rolled oats (or quick oats)
* 1/4 tsp salt (optional, if your peanut butter isn’t salted)
* 1/2 cup dark or milk chocolate chips

—

## **Instructions**

### **1. Mix the Base**

1. In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, honey, and vanilla.
2. Stir in the oats and salt until fully combined. The mixture should be thick and slightly sticky.

### **2. Form the Balls**

1. Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, roll the mixture into **1-inch balls**.
2. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

### **3. Melt the Chocolate**

1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.

* Or melt over a double boiler on the stove.

### **4. Coat the Balls**

1. Using a spoon or fork, dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, coating it evenly.
2. Place the coated balls back on the parchment paper.

### **5. Chill**

* Refrigerate for **30–60 minutes**, until the chocolate is set.

—

### **Tips**

* You can **roll the balls in crushed nuts, shredded coconut, or cocoa powder** instead of dipping in chocolate.
* Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to **1 week**, or freeze for longer storage.

—

If you like, I can also give a **super quick 3-ingredient version** that doesn’t even require melting chocolate. It’s almost like candy in under 10 minutes. Do you want me to share that?
