Classic choice ☕️ — Lipton Yellow Label Black Tea is a no-frills, everyday kind of good.
What it is
- A blend of black teas (mainly from Kenya)
- Bright, brisk, slightly malty
- Meant to be strong enough for milk, sugar, or lemon
How to make it right
Hot
- Bring fresh water to a boil.
- Add 1 tea bag per cup.
- Steep 3–5 minutes
- 3 min = lighter, smoother
- 5 min = bold and punchy
- Remove bag. Add milk, sugar, or honey if you like.
Iced
- Brew 2 tea bags in 1 cup boiling water (5 minutes).
- Pour over ice + add cold water to taste.
- Sweeten while warm if making sweet tea.
Good with
- Milk (very classic)
- Sugar or honey
- Lemon slice
- Ginger or mint if you want a little twist
Pro tip
Don’t squeeze the tea bag — it releases bitterness. Let it drip and walk away like a pro 😌
