🌿 Lemongrass Tea

Lemongrass tea is a light, citrusy herbal tea made from the stalks or dried leaves of lemongrass. It’s naturally caffeine-free and refreshing hot or iced.

🍡 How to Make It (Fresh Lemongrass)

Ingredients:

  • 1–2 fresh lemongrass stalks
  • 2 cups water
  • Optional: honey, ginger, lemon

Instructions:

  1. Trim off the tough ends and outer layers.
  2. Bruise the stalks by smashing them gently with the back of a knife (this releases flavor).
  3. Cut into 2–3 inch pieces.
  4. Bring water to a boil, add lemongrass.
  5. Simmer 5–10 minutes.
  6. Strain and sweeten if desired.

  • 1 tablespoon dried lemongrass per 2 cups hot water
  • Steep 5–7 minutes, strain.
