Here’s a light, flavorful Lemon Herb Baked Fish Fillets recipe 🐟🍋—simple, healthy, and ready in under 30 minutes.


Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 4 fish fillets (cod, tilapia, haddock, or snapper)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or thyme
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: lemon slices, fresh herbs (parsley, dill)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.

2. Season the fish

  • Pat fish fillets dry.
  • Place them in the baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil (or butter), garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Spoon mixture evenly over the fillets.

3. Bake

  • Bake uncovered for 12–15 minutes, depending on thickness, until fish flakes easily with a fork.

4. Serve

  • Garnish with lemon slices and fresh herbs.
  • Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
