🍋 Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken Recipe
Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp paprika (optional, for color)

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

Juice of 1 large lemon (about 3 tbsp)

Zest of 1 lemon (optional, for extra brightness)

½ cup chicken broth (or white wine for richer flavor)

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
🔪 Instructions

Season the Chicken:
Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika. -
Sear the Chicken:

Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and cook 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F / 74°C).

Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

In the same pan, reduce heat to medium.

Add 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t let it burn).

Stir in lemon juice, zest, and chicken broth (or wine).

Scrape up the brown bits from the bottom of the pan — that’s flavor!

Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly reduced.

Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over the top.
