Here’s a flavorful recipe for Honey Garlic Turkey Wings β€” sticky, sweet, and savory with tender, fall-off-the-bone meat. πŸ―πŸ¦ƒ

πŸ¦ƒ Ingredients (serves 4–6)

  • 2–3 lbs (900–1,400g) turkey wings

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup (60ml) honey

  • 1/4 cup (60ml) soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

  • 2 tablespoons water + 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional, for thicker glaze)

  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish

πŸ”₯ Instructions

Oven-Baked Version

  1. Preheat oven:

    • 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a rack on top (optional).

  2. Prepare turkey wings:

    • Pat wings dry, then rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

    • Place on the rack or baking sheet.

  3. Bake:

    • Bake for 45–60 minutes, turning halfway, until wings are cooked through and skin is golden.

  4. Make honey garlic sauce:

    • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine garlic, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper flakes.

    • Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

    • Optional: mix cornstarch and water, then stir in to make a thicker glaze.

  5. Coat wings:

    • Brush the sauce over the baked wings and return to the oven for 5–10 minutes to caramelize.

  6. Serve:

    • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve hot!

Optional Slow Cooker Version

  1. Season wings and place in slow cooker.

  2. Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, paprika, and red pepper flakes; pour over wings.

  3. Cook on LOW 4–5 hours or HIGH 2–3 hours until tender.

  4. Optional: Broil wings 3–5 minutes after cooking for crispy skin.

βœ… Tips:

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure wings reach 165Β°F (74Β°C).

  • Add ginger or a splash of orange juice for extra depth.

  • These wings pair well with rice, roasted veggies, or a crisp salad.

I can also give you a sticky, crispy fried version of honey garlic turkey wings if you want them extra indulgent. Do you want me to do that?
