🍯🧄 Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon

Ingredients (2–4 servings)

  • 1½–2 lb salmon fillet
  • Salt & black pepper

Glaze

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • Optional: grated ginger, red pepper flakes

Best method: stovetop (sticky glaze)

  1. Pat salmon dry; season with salt & pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high.
  3. Cook salmon skin-side down 4–5 min until crisp.
  4. Flip, cook 1–2 min.
  5. Add all glaze ingredients to the pan.
  6. Simmer 2–3 min, spooning glaze over salmon until thick and shiny.
  7. Remove once salmon flakes easily.

Oven method (easy)

  1. Heat oven to 400°F / 205°C.
  2. Whisk glaze; pour over salmon on lined pan.
  3. Bake 12–15 min.
  4. Broil 1–2 min to caramelize.

Serve with

  • Steamed rice or quinoa
  • Roasted broccoli, green beans, or asparagus
  • Sesame seeds + green onions on top

Pro tips

  • Don’t overcook—salmon should be just opaque.
  • Fresh garlic makes a big difference.
  • Add ginger for warmth + digestion support.
  • If glaze thickens too fast, splash in 1–2 tbsp water.
