Here’s a simple and delicious Honey Butter Skillet Corn recipe—sweet, buttery, and perfect as a side dish:


Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 4 cups corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2–3 tbsp honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet
    • Place a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  2. Cook the corn
    • Add corn kernels and sauté for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and slightly golden.
  3. Add honey and seasonings
    • Drizzle honey over the corn, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and stir to coat evenly.
    • Cook 1–2 more minutes so the honey slightly caramelizes.
  4. Serve
    • Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped parsley or chives if desired. Serve warm.

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika or a dash of cinnamon.
  • Using fresh corn gives the sweetest, juiciest result, but frozen works perfectly in a pinch.
