Homemade big mac wraps with special sauce

Posted on December 18, 2025 by Admin

Here’s a delicious take on Homemade Big Mac Wraps with a creamy “special sauce,” perfect for a low-carb or fun handheld version of the classic burger.

Homemade Big Mac Wraps

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

For the wraps:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large low-carb tortillas or flour tortillas
  • 4 slices cheddar or American cheese
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • ¼ cup diced onions
  • ¼ cup dill pickle slices

For the special sauce:

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Optional: pinch of paprika

Instructions:

  1. Make the special sauce:
    • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. Cook the beef:
    • Season ground beef with salt and pepper.
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook beef until fully browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Assemble the wraps:
    • Lay out a tortilla. Spread 1–2 tbsp of special sauce in the center.
    • Add a slice of cheese, cooked beef, shredded lettuce, diced onions, and pickle slices.
    • Drizzle a little extra special sauce on top.
  4. Wrap it up:
    • Fold the sides and roll up tightly to form a wrap.
    • Optional: Warm the wrap in a skillet or oven for 1–2 minutes to melt the cheese slightly.
  5. Serve:
    • Cut in half if desired and serve immediately with extra sauce or a side of pickles.

Pro tips:

  • Extra Big Mac flavor: Add a thin layer of shredded cheese on both top and bottom layers to mimic the triple-layer effect.
  • Crunch factor: Add a few shredded iceberg lettuce leaves for the classic Big Mac crunch.
  • Meal prep: Wraps can be assembled and stored in the fridge for up to 1 day, just add lettuce fresh when serving to keep it crisp.

I can also give a low-carb keto version with crispy cheese shells instead of tortillas if you want it extra indulgent and carb-free.

Do you want me to do that?
