Ingredients (serves 3–4)

  • 2 cups cooked ham, finely chopped
  • ½ cup mayonnaise (adjust to taste)
  • 1–2 tsp mustard (Dijon or yellow)
  • 1 small celery stalk, finely chopped (optional, for crunch)
  • 1 small onion or green onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional extras: chopped pickles, hard-boiled egg, shredded cheese, or fresh herbs

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ham
    • Chop the ham into small, bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix the dressing
    • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  3. Combine ingredients
    • Add the ham, celery, onion, and any extras to the dressing. Mix until evenly coated.
  4. Chill and serve
    • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
    • Serve on bread, crackers, or lettuce leaves.

💡 Tips:

  • Use leftover ham from a holiday meal—it makes the salad tastier.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half the mayo with Greek yogurt.
  • Add a little sweet pickle relish for a classic ham salad flavor.
