Surf & Turf Skewers

Skewers

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip), cut into 1½-inch cubes
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Optional: bell peppers, red onion, zucchini (chunked)
  • Wooden or metal skewers (soak wooden skewers 30 min)

Chimichurri Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro or oregano, finely chopped
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Optional: squeeze of fresh lemon juice

🔥 Quick Grill Notes

  • Grill skewers over medium-high heat
  • Shrimp cook fast (2–3 minutes per side)
  • Steak cooks about 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare
