🍓 Grandma’s No-Bake Strawberry Delight
This classic no-bake dessert is light, creamy, and bursting with fresh strawberry flavor. Perfect for warm days when you don’t want to turn on the oven!
📝 Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup melted butter
- 8 oz (1 package) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
- 3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin (like Jell-O)
- 1 cup boiling water
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Make the crust:
Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch dish. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set.
2. Prepare the creamy layer:
In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread evenly over the chilled crust.
3. Add strawberries:
Arrange sliced strawberries evenly over the cream layer.
4. Prepare gelatin:
Dissolve strawberry gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Let cool slightly (but don’t let it set). Carefully pour over the strawberries.
5. Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours, or until fully set.
✨ Tips
- For extra flavor, add a thin layer of strawberry jam between the cream layer and fresh strawberries.
- Swap strawberries for mixed berries for a colorful twist.
- For cleaner slices, dip your knife in warm water before cutting.
