Here’s a Garlic Butter Cod Strips with Sweet Chili Lime Sauce recipe that’s crispy, tender, and packed with flavor—perfect as an appetizer, snack, or main dish.

🐟 Garlic Butter Cod Strips with Sweet Chili Lime Sauce

Ingredients

For the Cod Strips

  • 1 lb cod fillets, cut into strips
  • Salt & pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1–2 tbsp butter or oil for pan-frying
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1–2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

For the Sweet Chili Lime Sauce

  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice (fresh)
  • 1 tsp soy sauce (optional for depth)
  • ½ tsp grated ginger (optional)
  • Lime zest for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep Cod Strips
    • Pat cod dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
    • Lightly dredge strips in flour, shaking off excess.
  2. Cook Cod
    • Heat butter (or oil) in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Add cod strips and cook 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through.
    • Add minced garlic in the last 30 seconds and toss gently.
    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  3. Make Sauce
    • In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, lime juice, soy sauce, and ginger.
  4. Serve
    • Drizzle sauce over cod strips or serve on the side for dipping.
    • Garnish with lime zest and extra parsley.

Tips & Variations

  • Crispier: Coat cod in panko breadcrumbs before pan-frying or air-fry at 400°F for 8–10 minutes.
  • Spicy: Add a pinch of cayenne or sriracha to the sauce.
  • Baked option: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, tossing halfway.
  • Serving ideas: Over rice, in tacos, or alongside roasted veggies.

If you want, I can make a full air-fryer version that’s crispy like takeout but super quick and less messy.

Do you want me to do that?
