Garlic Butter Baked Scallops

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sea scallops, cleaned and patted dry
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 400°F (200°C).
    • Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare garlic butter
    • In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange scallops
    • Place scallops in a single layer in the baking dish.
    • Pour garlic butter evenly over the scallops.
  4. Bake
    • Bake 10–12 minutes, until scallops are opaque and just cooked through.
    • Optional: broil 1–2 minutes at the end for a golden top.
  5. Garnish & serve
