Fried zucchini

Posted on December 21, 2025 by Admin

Are you looking for a fried zucchini recipe, tips on how to fry zucchini, or just curious about it in general? I can give you a simple and tasty method if you want to make it at home.

Here’s a quick way to make crispy fried zucchini:

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or a mix of flour and breadcrumbs for extra crunch)
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or Parmesan cheese
  • Oil for frying (vegetable, canola, or olive oil works)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the zucchini: Wash and slice the zucchini into thin rounds or sticks.
  2. Set up dredging stations:
    • Bowl 1: Flour mixed with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
    • Bowl 2: Beaten eggs.
    • Bowl 3 (optional for extra crunch): Breadcrumbs or Parmesan mixed with a little flour.
  3. Coat the zucchini:
    • Dip slices first in flour, then in egg, then in breadcrumbs (if using).
  4. Heat oil: Medium heat in a skillet, enough to coat the bottom.
  5. Fry zucchini: Cook until golden brown, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  6. Drain and serve: Place on paper towels to remove excess oil. Serve with marinara sauce or a dipping sauce of your choice.

💡 Tip: Don’t overcrowd the pan—fry in batches so the zucchini stays crispy.

If you want, I can also give you a super quick air-fryer version that’s way less oily but still crunchy. Do you want me to?
