Easy moist banana bread

Posted on December 23, 2025 by Admin

Absolutely! Here’s a simple, easy, and moist banana bread recipe that’s perfect for beginners:

Easy Moist Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3–4 ripe bananas (mashed, about 1 ½ cups)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar (can reduce to ½ cup for less sweet)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Optional: ½ tsp cinnamon or ½ cup chopped nuts/chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. Mash Bananas:
In a large bowl, mash bananas until smooth.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients:
Add melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla to the bananas. Stir until combined.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and optional cinnamon.
  5. Mix Together:
Gently fold the dry ingredients into the banana mixture. Don’t overmix — just combine.
  6. Add Extras (Optional):
Fold in nuts or chocolate chips if using.
  7. Bake:
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool & Slice:
Let banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!

💡 Tip: For extra moist banana bread, use very ripe bananas (the ones with brown spots) and don’t overbake. You can also brush the top with a little melted butter right after baking for a soft crust.

If you want, I can also give you a super quick 1-bowl microwave banana bread that’s ready in under 15 minutes.

Do you want me to share that version too?
