Easy Grilled Pork Chops with Lemonade BBQ Sauce

Ingredients (serves 4)

For the pork chops:

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

For the Lemonade BBQ Sauce:

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup lemonade (fresh or store-bought)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional for heat)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the BBQ sauce
    • In a small saucepan, combine ketchup, lemonade, brown sugar, vinegar, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
    • Simmer over medium heat 5–10 minutes until slightly thickened. Set aside.
  2. Prep the pork chops
    • Brush pork chops with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Grill the pork chops
    • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
    • Grill pork chops 4–6 minutes per side (depending on thickness), until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  4. Brush with BBQ sauce
    • During the last 2–3 minutes of grilling, brush pork chops generously with lemonade BBQ sauce on both sides.
  5. Serve
    • Let pork chops rest 3–5 minutes before serving.
    • Serve extra BBQ sauce on the side if desired.

Tips

  • For extra flavor, marinate pork chops in 1/4 cup lemonade and 1 tbsp olive oil for 30 minutes before grilling.
  • Pair with grilled corn, baked potatoes, or a fresh salad.
  • Can also be cooked in a skillet or oven if you don’t have a grill.
