Easy Christmas Gumdrop Nougat Candy

Here’s a simple Easy Christmas Gumdrop Nougat Candy recipe — it’s festive, chewy, and takes only a few ingredients! 🎄🍬


🎁 Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups white chocolate chips (or chopped white chocolate)

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows

  • 1 ½ cups cut-up spice gumdrops (use red and green for Christmas — avoid the black licorice ones)


🍳 Instructions

  1. Prep your pan:
    Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, letting it hang over the sides for easy lifting. Lightly grease the paper.

  2. Melt the chocolate and butter:
    In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat the white chocolate chips and butter in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.

  3. Add marshmallows:
    Stir in the mini marshmallows until they’re fully melted and the mixture is smooth (you can microwave a few seconds more if needed).

  4. Mix in gumdrops:
    Let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes (so the gumdrops don’t melt), then fold in the chopped gumdrops.

  5. Pour and set:
    Spread evenly into the prepared pan. Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

  6. Cut and serve:
    Lift out of the pan using the parchment, cut into small squares, and enjoy!


🎄 Tips

  • For easier cutting, use a sharp knife lightly coated with cooking spray or warm water.

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

  • These make great holiday gifts wrapped in parchment or cellophane!
