crockpot christmas crack

Posted on November 4, 2025 by Admin
Yum β€” Crockpot Christmas Crack is one of the easiest and most addictive holiday treats you can make! It’s a salty-sweet chocolate peanut cluster candy that melts together right in your slow cooker. Here’s the classic recipe that turns out perfectly every time:

πŸŽ„ Crockpot Christmas Crack

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz / 450 g) jar unsalted dry roasted peanuts

  • 1 (16 oz / 450 g) jar salted dry roasted peanuts

  • 1 (12 oz / 340 g) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 (12 oz / 340 g) bag milk chocolate chips

  • 1 (10–12 oz / 300 g) bag peanut butter chips

  • 2 lbs (about 32 oz / 900 g) white almond bark (or white candy coating), broken into pieces

Instructions

  1. Layer the ingredients:

    • In your slow cooker, layer in this order (do not stir yet):

      1. All peanuts

      2. Chocolate chips (both kinds)

      3. Peanut butter chips

      4. Chunks of almond bark on top

  2. Cook:

    • Cover and cook on LOW for 1 hour.

    • After 1 hour, stir well, then cover again and cook another 30 minutes to 1 hour, stirring every 15–20 minutes until smooth and melted.

  3. Scoop and set:

    • Once melted and well mixed, use a spoon or small cookie scoop to drop clusters onto parchment or wax paper.

    • Let cool and harden completely (about 1 hour at room temp or 20–30 minutes in the fridge).

  4. Store:

    • Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 3 months.

πŸ’‘ Variations

  • 🍫 Festive mix-ins: Add mini marshmallows, pretzel pieces, or crushed candy canes right before scooping.

  • πŸ₯œ Nut-free option: Use pretzels or Rice Krispies instead of peanuts.

  • 🍬 Drizzle: Once set, drizzle with melted red and green candy melts for a Christmas touch.

  • 🌰 Gourmet twist: Swap peanuts for pecans, almonds, or cashews.

Would you like me to give you a small-batch version (for fewer servings) or a gourmet version (with dark chocolate and fancy mix-ins)?
