🍄 Creamy Mushroom Soup (Easy & Delicious)

🧾 Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
- 300–400 g mushrooms (button or cremini), sliced
- 2 tbsp flour
- 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup cream or milk
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- ½ tsp thyme (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

- Sauté the base
Heat butter and olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 3–4 minutes until soft. - Add garlic & mushrooms

Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir well. Cook for about 1 minute to remove the raw flour taste. - Add broth
Slowly pour in the broth while stirring to avoid lumps. Bring to a gentle simmer. - Simmer
Cook for 10–15 minutes so the flavors combine. - Add cream
Stir in the cream or milk. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme. - Blend (optional)
For a smoother soup, blend half or all of the soup with a hand blender. - Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with toasted bread.
