Here’s a delicious recipe for Cream Cheese Stuffed Banana Bread—moist, sweet, and creamy in the center!


Ingredients

For the Banana Bread:

  • 2–3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar (can reduce to 1/2 cup for less sweetness)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs

For the Cream Cheese Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Make the cream cheese filling: In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Prepare banana bread batter:
    • In a large bowl, mash bananas.
    • Stir in melted butter, sugar, and vanilla.
    • Add eggs and mix well.
    • Stir in baking soda, salt, and flour until just combined.
  4. Assemble the loaf:
    • Pour half the banana bread batter into the loaf pan.
    • Spoon the cream cheese filling over the batter.
    • Pour the remaining banana bread batter on top and gently spread to cover the filling.
  5. Bake: Bake 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the bread (not the cream cheese) comes out clean.
  6. Cool & serve: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy!

💡 Tips:

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle chocolate chips or chopped nuts over the cream cheese layer before baking.
  • Make sure bananas are very ripe—they add natural sweetness and moisture.
