Cream Cheese Spaghetti is a quick, creamy pasta dish made with simple ingredients. It’s rich, comforting, and usually ready in about 20 minutes. 🍝🧀
Ingredients
- 200–250 g spaghetti
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 200 g cream cheese
- ½ cup milk (or pasta water)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)
- Optional: chili flakes, mushrooms, chicken, or spinach
- Fresh parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta
Boil the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Reserve about ½ cup of pasta water before draining. - Make the sauce
In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. - Add cream cheese
Add the cream cheese and slowly pour in milk (or pasta water). Stir continuously until it melts into a smooth, creamy sauce. - Season & add cheese
Add salt, black pepper, and grated Parmesan. Mix well. - Combine pasta and sauce
Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan and toss until the pasta is fully coated. If the sauce is too thick, add a little more pasta water. - Serve
Top with extra Parmesan, chili flakes, or parsley.
Optional Variations
- Chicken Cream Cheese Spaghetti – add grilled chicken pieces.
- Garlic Mushroom Version – sauté mushrooms with garlic first.
- Spicy Version – add chili flakes or green chilies. 🌶️
✅ Tip: A little pasta water makes the sauce silky and helps it stick to the spaghetti.
