Ingredients:

  • Cream cheese – 8 oz (1 block), softened
  • Pepper jelly – ½ cup (red or green, depending on heat preference)
  • Optional garnish: chopped fresh herbs (chives, parsley)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the base:
    • Place the softened cream cheese on a serving plate or in a shallow dish. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  2. Add the jelly:
    • Spoon the pepper jelly over the cream cheese, spreading slightly but leaving a layered look if desired.
  3. Optional finishing touch:
    • Sprinkle with chopped herbs for color and extra flavor.
  4. Serve:
    • Serve with crackers, toasted baguette slices, or fresh veggies.

Tips:
