Christmas sweet fix

Posted on December 23, 2025 by Admin

Got it! Here’s a quick and festive Christmas sweet treat idea that’s easy, fun, and perfect for the holidays. I’ll give you a no-bake option and a baked option so you can choose.

1. No-Bake Christmas Chocolate Bark

Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340 g) dark or milk chocolate
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
  • 1/4 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Sprinkles or festive decorations

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until smooth.
  3. Pour melted chocolate onto the parchment and spread into an even layer.
  4. Sprinkle crushed candy canes, marshmallows, nuts, and sprinkles on top.
  5. Let it set in the fridge for 30-60 minutes, then break into pieces.

2. Christmas Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
  • Sprinkles or colored sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg and vanilla (and almond extract if using).
  5. Gradually blend in the flour mixture.
  6. Roll dough into balls, place on a baking sheet, and flatten slightly.
  7. Decorate with sprinkles.
  8. Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool on wire racks before enjoying.

🎄 Extra festive tips:

  • Use cookie cutters in shapes like stars, trees, or snowmen.
  • Add a drizzle of melted white chocolate for a snowy effect.
  • You can also wrap small batches in cellophane as gifts!

If you want, I can give you a super quick 3-ingredient Christmas dessert that takes only 10 minutes to make. Do you want me to do that?
