Posted on December 18, 2025 by Admin

Here’s a festive and indulgent Christmas Sugar Cookie Cheesecake recipe—creamy, sweet, and full of holiday cheer.

Christmas Sugar Cookie Cheesecake

Servings: 12

Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 ½ cups sugar cookie crumbs (from store-bought cookies or homemade)
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 24 oz (3 blocks) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped sugar cookies (optional, for texture)
  • Red and green sprinkles (optional, for holiday flair)

For the Topping (optional):

  • Whipped cream
  • Extra sugar cookies or sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan and wrap the bottom with foil to prevent leaks.
  2. Make crust
    • In a bowl, combine sugar cookie crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
    • Press mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan. Bake 8–10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  3. Prepare cheesecake filling
    • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
    • Add sugar and vanilla; mix well.
    • Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed.
    • Stir in sour cream, chopped sugar cookies, and sprinkles if using.
  4. Bake
    • Pour filling over crust and smooth the top.
    • Bake 50–60 minutes until edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
    • Turn off oven and let cheesecake cool inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour to prevent cracking.
  5. Chill
    • Refrigerate at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before removing from pan.
  6. Serve
    • Top with whipped cream, extra cookies, or sprinkles for a festive presentation. Slice and enjoy!

Pro Tips

  • No cracks: Bake cheesecake in a water bath or leave the oven door slightly open during cooling to reduce cracks.
  • Extra flavor: Add a teaspoon of almond extract for a sugar-cookie-like flavor boost.
  • Make-ahead: Cheesecake can be made up to 2 days in advance; keep refrigerated.
  • Decorating: Use holiday-themed sprinkles, crushed candy canes, or mini chocolate chips for festive flair.

If you want, I can also provide a mini cheesecake version in muffin tins that’s perfect for individual holiday servings.

Do you want me to do that?
