👩🍳 Instructions
1. Make the filling
-
In a bowl, combine shredded coconut, condensed milk, vanilla, and powdered sugar if using.
-
Mix until it forms a sticky, moldable mixture.
2. Shape the patties
-
Take small spoonfuls and shape them into discs or ovals about 1/2 inch thick.

Place them on a parchment-lined tray.
-
Chill in the fridge for 15–20 minutes to firm up.
3. Melt the chocolate
-
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring each time.
-
Optional: stir in coconut oil for a smoother, shinier finish.
4. Coat the patties
-
Using a fork or skewer, dip each chilled patty into the melted chocolate, covering completely.
-
Place back on the parchment-lined tray.
5. Set the chocolate
-
Chill the coated patties in the fridge for 30 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.
6. Serve
-
Keep stored in an airtight container in the fridge. Best enjoyed within a week.
🌟 Tips & Variations
-
Peanut Butter Patties: Mix 2–3 tbsp peanut butter into the coconut filling.
-
Caramel Center: Add a small dollop of soft caramel in the center before coating with chocolate.
-
Dark Chocolate Twist: Use dark chocolate for a less sweet, richer flavor.
If you want, I can give a shortcut version using store-bought cookie or marshmallow centers for even faster chocolate-covered patties. Do you want that version too?
