Here’s a classic, fudgy chocolate brownie recipe—simple, rich, and always a hit 🍫


Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (115 g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 350°F (175°C).
    • Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt butter
    • Melt butter and let it cool slightly.
  3. Mix wet ingredients
    • Stir sugar into melted butter.
    • Add eggs and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  4. Add dry ingredients
    • Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder just until combined.
    • Do not overmix.
  5. Bake
    • Pour batter into pan and spread evenly.
    • Bake 20–25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Cool & serve
    • Let cool before cutting for clean edges.

Tips for Perfect Brownies

  • For extra fudgy brownies, reduce flour to ⅓ cup.
  • For cakier brownies, add one more egg.
  • Mix in chocolate chips, walnuts, or swirls of peanut butter if you like.
