Chicken Parm grilled cheese

Here’s a Chicken Parmesan Grilled Cheese—crispy, cheesy, and super comforting 🧀🍗

Chicken Parm Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Italian or sourdough bread
  • ½–¾ cup cooked chicken (breaded chicken cutlet or chopped chicken tenders work best)
  • ¼ cup marinara sauce
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Optional: sliced provolone, fresh basil, or garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Layer on mozzarella, chicken, marinara, Parmesan, and any optional add-ins.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
  5. Cook 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from heat, rest 1 minute, slice, and serve.

Tips

  • Warm the chicken and sauce first so the cheese melts evenly.
  • For extra crunch, sprinkle Parmesan directly onto the skillet before adding the bread.
  • Serve with extra marinara for dipping.
