Chicken fritters

Here’s a crispy, flavorful recipe for Chicken Fritters—perfect as an appetizer, snack, or even a main dish with a side salad.


🐔 Crispy Chicken Fritters

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, finely chopped or shredded
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • 2–3 tbsp milk (if needed for consistency)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Mixture

In a large bowl, combine chicken, eggs, flour, Parmesan, onion, parsley, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Mix until well combined.

  • If the mixture seems too thick, add a tablespoon of milk at a time.
  • It should be thick enough to hold its shape when spooned.

2️⃣ Fry the Fritters

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of mixture per fritter into the pan.
  3. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon.
  4. Cook 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.

Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.


3️⃣ Serve

Serve warm with:

  • Sour cream or garlic yogurt sauce
  • Sweet chili sauce
  • Ranch dressing
  • A squeeze of fresh lemon

🔥 Tips for Extra Crispy Fritters

  • Use cold cooked chicken for better texture.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan.
  • For extra crunch, replace half the flour with breadcrumbs.

🥦 Variation Ideas

  • Add shredded zucchini (squeeze out moisture first).
  • Mix in corn or diced bell peppers for sweetness.
  • Add a pinch of cayenne for spice.
